Bring family and friends and your favorite beverage for a fun Independence Day party boat ride.
Boats are likely to be sold out for this favorite Bay Area tradition so reservations should be made as early as possible; this season or next for private charters, and as soon as you have a fixed head count for "open load" trips (where you join others).
Pricing:
Each boat is different; but most should be $45 to $50 per passenger. Unfortunately, the Coast Guard does not consider little children to count differently for passenger counts so there is no discount for kids.
Volume discounts may apply for larger groups in open load boats.
Private charters are priced based on boat capacity, with a small volume discount. If 20 people want a boat that has 35 space capacity, you must pay for the entire boat if you want a private charter. Why not get all your friends to get a few more friends to fill your boat? Its not hard.
Any harbor on San Francisco Bay may be available. Last minute requests can not be too picky.
For reservations, please send an email as early as possible to avoid the late rush.
